History
We have been in the wedding and party favor industry for over 14 years. It is a family business where our storefront has been long established in the heart of Williston Park of Long Island, New York.
We began in 1993; developing and creating favor-packaging designs that had the classic European and Italy style, using the finest papers in the world. We also customized packaging and design presentation specifically for our customer special occasions.
Inspiration
We were inspired by the winning attitude and uniform style of the Unione Sportiva Città di Palermo, which is a professional Italian football club from Palermo, Sicily. The team was formed in 1900 as Anglo Panormitan Athletic and Football Club. In 2004, the club became one of the most prominent in Italy. It has obtained a UEFA Cup place in each of the past three seasons, narrowly missing UEFA Champions League qualification in 2007. US Città di Palermo plays its home games at Stadio Renzo Barbera, formerly known as La Favorita; as of 2007 the stadium has a capacity of 37,000 people. It was originally built in 1932, but was renovated in the late 1980s and served as a venue for the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Hence, we registered our company name "La Favorita" also the words “La Favorita” mean The Favorite.
